Saturday April 26, 5:58 pm EST - Chicago Airport I just exchanged a boatload of money at the Chicago airport. I was a little nervous walking around with $1200 cash in my backpack, but the thought of carrying around a little more than 33,000 rupees is seriously frightening - that is a huge wad of cash, considering one American dollar equals about 40 rupees.
I had to do this because Monday morning at 6:30 am, we are paying up front for our tour of India. Let's hope no one tries to steal my rupees.

Yeah, carrying a large amount of cash is extremely scary.
